Sperm Motion Analysis for Infertility Diagnosis

Background & context

GoQba works on fertility diagnostics. Unexplained male infertility is hard to diagnose because standard semen analysis doesn't always reveal the cause.

This project built an AI system that analyzes sperm motion patterns to predict chromosome abnormality — giving clinicians an additional signal when the cause is otherwise unknown.

• DataContributed to collecting and labeling the sperm-motility dataset.
• Feature extractionExtracted motion-pattern features from microscopy video using OpenCV.
• ModelingTrained a PyTorch model to predict chromosome abnormality from the motion features.
